Teacher & Founder
Debra Goodman
Debra is a licensed teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance with 35 years of instructional experience. She received her training at the esteemed Royal Ballet School and has performed professionally with several renowned companies, including Festival Ballet, the Royal Opera, the National Ballet of Portugal, London City Ballet, and Vienna Festival Ballet. In addition to her extensive performance background, Debra has taught at prestigious institutions such as the Sylvia Young Theatre School, Urdang Academy, and London Studio Centre, and she is the founder of Ballet Train, where she continues to impart her expertise.
At Ballet Train, we combine passion with expertise to inspire the next generation of dancers. With over 30 years of dedicated teaching, we focus on technique and the love of dance.
Our friendly small school atmosphere ensures each child feels valued and encouraged to express themselves through dance.
Timetable & Classes
Autumn Term 2026
Classes at Mortimer Hall are conducted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the academic term. The studio is located on the first floor of Mortimer Hall, which is equipped with dance flooring, mirrors and barres. We also have a designated changing room.
The School is currently very small and therefore we will only be accepting new students that have some dance experience and readily fit into our established classes. If you are interested in joining us please contact us and come along for a free assessment class.
